Crochet Beret!

Well a few weeks ago David taught me how to crochet properly (youtube didn't really do the trick)
And as usual, I have started making many things, but this is the first I have finished! (As you know I've been busy getting stuff done for the Craft Affair)

I had the perfect amount of wool!
Here is out it turned out!

YAY! I've totally thrown in the towel for knitting and replaced it with crocheting - which is a million times cooler.

CRAFT AFFAIR

Well I've finished exams, and on holiday spending most of my time making crafts! Why are they not on the blog you say? Well they are all for the Craft Affair

happening on the 11th!

Many of them I have put on this blog before.

Here is a sneak peak of what will be on offer...

From cute woolen headbands, DIY cupcake kits, secret books, book purses, cards, tape wallets (hopefully), toys, record bowls and jewelry, brooches, hairties, bows and more!

I hope to see you there.
I will be in gallery 3, downstairs!

MUFFINS!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, it's been study leave/exams etc.

Here is a quick one for some really yum banana & choc muffins:

2 eggs
2/3 ripe bananas, mashed up good.
1/4 cup oil
1 cup milk
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 cups chocolate buttons

Mix up the eggs, bananas, milk, and brown sugar.
Then sift in the flour, bp and mix, lastly add all those chocolate buttons.

Pour into cute cases in tray (mine made about 14 really big ones!) and cook on 180c for 20 mins.

Here is one of mine, sitting in my new Crown Lyn set...

Simple, crazy coloured lens for camera

This post is for T'nealle, cause I tried explaining it to her but it's a bit confusing without pix.

Get your hands on a pair of these POLARIZING 3D glasses (ie, the new ones)
and break out the lenses (because we all know 3D movies are a stupid fad)

Then place them FACE SIDE (ie. inside of glasses) together like so...

And if you hold them up to the light you will see lots of colours, esp purple.

If you don't place them face side together, you will know, because it won't work. (No colours)

Now hold in front of your camera lens and SHOOT!
And here are some of my results:

If you have a smaller lens on your camera you can play around with which colour you capture, be it blue, yellow, red, pink, purple etc!
